We custom build Swing and Sliding Driveway Gates from Modern Glass, Wood, Steel, Aluminum & we also offer Decorative Steel Gates. If you provide a concept or inspirational photo of the gate design you like, we can most likely produce it! Our team can also provide suggestions for the best-looking Driveway Gate to compliment your homes’ aesthetic.
Our wood gates are built with a heavy-duty steel inner frame and a steel flat bar surround. This creates a solid hinge connection and ensures your driveway gates will be built to last. The steel inner frame allows us to attach wood boards without any exposed screws, creating a cleaner and more streamlined look.
It’s critical you meet with an estimator before you start the construction of your pillars so we can coordinate with that contractor. We may request they build the pillars with supplemental steel, set in specific locations, which we would then weld our posts to. Stucco or stone wrap (by others) would take place after the gate is installed. We can provide heavy steel posts, deep-set in concrete as an alternative to pillars if needed.
Once you approve your custom quote and design, our team will contact you to schedule a date and time for our steel fabricators to build the gate frame and posts on site (not every opening is square). Once the frame and posts are completed, we transport them back to our shop to finish the build, powder coat, add glass or clad with wood if incorporated into the design. Once the gates are complete and quality checked, we will contact you to schedule the gate, motor and communications installation.
Maintenance depends on the material. Regularly inspect the gate for any signs of wear, clean it with appropriate cleaning agents, and lubricate hinges and locks to ensure smooth operation.Stain/Paint can last up to 10 yrs with yearly maintenance. If you do not maintain the gate we suggest you re-stain within approximately 2-3 years.
We require wood surfaces are finished within 24-48 hours of installation. Our skilled woodworkers will sand out imperfections after hanging the gate, to ensure it looks beautiful before the stain is applied. We can provide stainer & painter referrals for your custom gates.
We offer Stain and paint grade lumber options that resist moisture and maintain well in coastal conditions. The lumber we typically use is very suitable for coastal conditions, resists moisture, rot and termites. We also offer super durable exterior grade powder coating for steel and aluminum surfaces to seal & protect over time.
